Concerts are as much about the audience as they are about the music. What seems like a shared, collective experience is often something personal and subjective, shaped by our most sincere desires.
No matter the genre, the faces in the crowd carry the reasons why they are there. The darker the room, the more visible it becomes. It’s something I’ve been drawn to for years, moving between mosh pits and the quieter corners of concert halls, cinemas, and theaters, watching how audiences shape the energy of the artists they come to see.
Through this series, I’m exploring the quiet portrayals of our hopes and dreams, what draws us toward those who create, and what they might take from us in return.
