Producing

Producing has become a means of survival that has sustained me for the past few years. Through it, I’ve amassed an arsenal of practical knowledge about making things happen on screen. The production of short films, music videos, and image films has become the foundation of my income and, inevitably, my life. Producing has given me the chance to observe the dance between logistics and art, to see how the machinery of film runs on an engine as human as it is technical—whether it’s managing a budget that builds the magic before your eyes, or quietly observing actors turn their inner worlds outward.

The word collaboration always felt a bit overused for its property of bringing santiment,  but it has, over time, became  an act of faith for me. I’ve worked with independent filmmakers, artists, and production companies alike, all held together by a sense of purpose as fragile as it is enduring. I’ve learned to adapt quickly and support projects across a variety of roles, from the most mundane logistics to creative development, whether refining a script, assembling a budget that might just work, or handling the chaos of a shooting day.

Producing is, if nothing else, but an exercise in contingency and in patience—qualities I bring to every production. I’m here, ultimately, to keep things moving forward, with as little friction as possible, for those strange few who persist in telling stories that might matter to someone, somewhere.

How can I support your story

Group 8

Creative Development

I’m there for the early conversations, the outline drafts, the pitch decks, the later drafts—a consultant for when things get hazy.

Group 7

Budgeting & Funding

Figuring out how much things cost, where to spend the money, and what to sacrifice if we don’t have enough.

Group 6

Logistics & Coordination

I handle the permits, the crew, the schedules. It’s more than it sounds, and sometimes it’s exactly what it sounds.

My background

Each project, in its own strange way, becomes a life of its own, a feverish journey that reminds you how filmmaking is as much a struggle as it is an expression. Working on Blue Eyes, a music video directed by Ivan Volodko and Julius Pfeiffer in 2021, I faced the intricate challenge of navigating a tight budget—an experience that demanded a kind of alchemical creativity, where constraints transformed into a canvas for daring innovation. That same year, as producer for Loving Too Much, Too Less, an experimental dance film by Carolina Romillo, I encountered another revelation: the elusive, half-submerged world of emotional landscapes in movement.

In 2022-2023, Caballito de Bronce with Christiania Krueger marked my growing understanding of the relentless versatility required by production. I took on both line and creative producing roles, working to keep the project steady even as the boundaries of reality and fiction blurred in surprising ways. Rejoining Pfeiffer for Von Wagen Lisbeth – Auf Ice, and later for Schlindwein – DDDB as well as a music video UP for Serious Klein produced by ICONOCLAST in 2023, I found in each collaboration the gentle strength of his creative vision—a reminder that ambition can be both fragile and resilient. These projects taught me to navigate diverse budgets and support a burgeoning talent, reaffirming that making things happen is an art form in itself, irrespective of resources.

Then came larger projects, magnifying all these elements. On The Wheels of Heaven, a feature produced by Goldfinch and directed by Ben Charles Edwards, I found myself at the center of a machine larger than myself, blending into the witty British humor and the seriousness of the strongest Balcan crew I've worked with so far. Before all that, I worked on the TV series Dear Heirs, a serial drama that symphony of organized chaos—scheduling for 10 lead characters, a village’s worth of secondary players, and multiple directors, all moving to an ever-shifting rhythm that you simply had to caught.

Each of these experiences, however strange, exhausting, or unexpectedly enlightening, has made its mark, feeding into a greater understanding of what it means to bring stories to life, even if only for the briefest moment.

I would love to tell you that I’m here, looking forward to our next project together - based on loyalty, kindness, curiosity, promptitude, endurance, transparency and love for cinema.
